The time of year to get in shape

So here we are again... the time of year where the gym gets busy, people talk constantly about their resolution to lose weight, and the regular exercisers cuss the number of people in the gym. I just had a client tell me how much he hated the gym this time of year. All I can say is at least they are trying to get in shape. The odds are they won't but every year a very small percentage of people actually stick with it. What intrigues me is the people that stick with it all the time... not so much people that are already in shape, but people that have lost a significant amount of weight and have kept it off. One person in particular is a lady that I work with. She has lost 160lbs and has maintained it for 7 years. She works hard, but really knows what it takes to be successful.
